A few months ago I was flipping through channels early on a weekend morning. It was one infomercial after another for kitchen gadgets and then I landed on the one for the Cricut. It looks like a printer but is really a precision paper cutter and a million other things. They market it for the scrapbookers but I don't do that and never will-I can't stand the idea of cutting up photos but that's my hangup and another story. Anyway, it has it's own half hour infomercial and I get sucked into it every time. I practically start drooling when I watch it. I could waste hours on this thing and I could make things on it like cards to sell on Etsy. As you can see, I am trying to justify spending the money for this thing. In the craft stores and Wal-Mart it's between $100-$200 plus you have to buy all these different cartridges for it that cost about $40 each. Then there's the cost of all the different papers and I cold go on and on. This is what always stops me from buying it because it looks like a huge money pit. I know I'm going to be caught in a moment of weakness and order it though. I'll keep you posted.

If you order it, then you need to let me come over and play with it. Or maybe we could go halvsies and we could mail it back and forth to each other in 6-month rotations. I want one too, but never think seriously about it for the same reason. Can you do the vinyl wall art on these thing? That is what I'd really like to do. My dream world would be to have the room and the money to have all the awesome craft gadgets that my little heart desires....
