The Boy Who Lived

Does he look like Harry Potter to you? I think he desperately wants to but he won't admit it. Declan has joined his parents in needing glasses. We suspected it for the past few months but he was very adamant that he could see just fine. We knew better but were sort of in denial about it. Once he failed his eye exam at the pediatricians then we had to face facts. I got my glasses in the 3rd grade too so I should have known. Grace was actually jealous that he got them and we had to make her an eye appointment too. She cried when she found out she didn't need them! I liked a pair that had a rounder frame but he liked these. I don't like how old they make him look. We need to grow the hair in shaggier to make him look younger. He is being very careful with them so far and loves to polish them. I'm glad he has such a good attitude about having them. I think he is surprised at what he has been missing.
