If You Give A Boy A Camera

Grace was spending her days at Art Camp last week leaving Tim and Declan alone to do their boy things. Tim decided to take Declan downtown with our cameras to get Declans perspective on Portland.
Here is Dad taking his pictures. He has the much bigger and nicer camera. I have no idea how to even turn it on.
Houseboats on a wharf off Commercial St. These are real houseboats, not like Sleepless In Seattle houseboats. I don't think Tom Hanks is on any of them.
I don't know what The Purple Caterpillar is but I'm picturing a 1960's club where people are dancing the Frug while the Monkees perform. It's probably just a regular old store though.
Cobblestone streets. Nice idea in theory but bumpy as hell in real life. Plus the dangerous wavy guillotine style public art in the grassy square has cost the city thousands but was just sold for $1. This is my favorite one. It looks like a regular parking meter but if you look closely, it has googly eyes. Someone crafted onto a parking meter!
