" When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does. " You've Got Mail.
It's that time year again when I reread all my Betsy Tacy books. I have been reading them since the 5th grade and I will be reading them until I'm too old to see. Last year,
new editions were released and I love these versions.

It's sort of weird that they put two books into one but at least publishers are still paying attention to them. I would love to have copies of the original hardcovers like I used to check out of the library.

I think they should sell the illustrations as prints because I would put them all up on my walls.

Anyway, this week I discovered this
new Betsy Tacy blog and I've even gotten a shout out on it. In addition to the Laura Ingalls trip I need to take, I also need to take a trip to Minnesota so I can finally sit on Betsy amd Tacys bench on the Big Hill.

I'm with you on the prints! I love them and think they did a great job on the new covers. They look so pretty on my bookshelf! I also kind of wished they were published individually, but I guess the doubling-up has its advantages.
Thank you for the mention of my blog. :)
