A very proud boy came home from Boy Scouts. For the first time, they voted for dener of his troop. "Dener" is not a typo. A dener is like the leader of the boys in the troop. I thought he was trying to tell me about "dinner". Declan was the first one voted into the position. He gets to wear this yellow braid on his shoulder during his month long reign. He has to pass it along to the next dener. I think its going to be very hard for him to give it up though. Maybe I can craft him one of his own to keep.
