The Pile Keeps Growing

This is my pile of books. I used to read a book a day almost. Now, my weekly average is about 20 pages. If I'm lucky. At that rate, it's going to take me a long way to work my way through this pile and I'm going to have huge library fines. Starting from the bottom we have:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows : After I saw the last film over the summer, I dragged this off my shelf. I've made it about 1/4 of a way through it.
Faith: I read a review of this in the New York Times several months ago and put it on hold at the library. It was on hold so long that I forget what its about.
The Night Strangers: This is written by Chris Bohjalain and I forget what its about too but I love all his books so I will start reading this.
Ivanhoe: This is the sort of book that people don't usually read unless they are forced to in school. Sometimes I miss my English classes so I pick out a book like this.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: A strange book full of creepy Victorian photos. This is right up my alley.
By The Shores of Silver Lake: Teenage Laura Ingalls-my favorite books in the series start from this one. This copy is my original one from 3rd grade.
I Don't Know How She Does It: This was my introduction to British mommy lit. I read this when the kids were babies and it was like the author was reading my mind. I didn't feel so alone after this book because I realized there were other mothers out there who were overwhelmed with work, kids, husband and the house all while putting on a fake smile in front of the other moms.
The Betsy-Tacy Treasury: Enough said on this one. This is the final release for all the new editions. I've read these books over and over for years so I don't think this one counts as something I need to read. This is just a book I need to own for the rest of my life.
